The task completed jointly is sent to the tutor and evaluated by him in the SAME way for the whole group (this is also one of the principles of learning in cooperation). It is this approach that forms a sense of responsibility not only for one's own work, but for the work of all members of the group, the entire group as a whole. Usually the motivation learning activities in distance learning is much higher than in full-time, since a person turns to the distance form quite consciously, wanting to gain KNOWLEDGE.

Telecommunication project method.

An educational telecommunications project is understood as a joint educational, cognitive, research, creative or gaming activity of partner students, organized on the basis of computer telecommunications, having a common problem, goal, agreed methods, methods of activity, aimed at achieving a joint result of activity, implemented in the form of a kind of joint product.
When working on the project, more free group activities of students are used. These are also small groups, but they can be 4-5 people each. All members of the group have their own role (part of the work) in the overall project, for which they are responsible to the whole group. All decisions are made on the basis of a compromise, that is, the consent of all members of the group. However, there may be an individual, but reasoned point of view of an individual student. The joint activity of students is also structured, but the freedom to make a decision is really greater than in collaborative learning. Implementation of projects of various typologies is possible.

For the typology of projects, the following typological features can be distinguished:

    Dominant activities in the project: research, search, creative, role-playing, applied (practice-oriented), familiarization-orienting, etc. ( research project, game, practice-oriented, creative); Subject area: mono project (within one area of ​​knowledge); interdisciplinary project. The nature of project coordination: direct (rigid, flexible), hidden (implicit, simulating a participant in a telecommunications project). Solving the problem inherent in any project always requires the involvement of integrated knowledge. But in a telecommunications project, as a rule, a deeper integration of knowledge is required, which implies not only knowledge of the subject of the problem under study, but also knowledge of the characteristics of the partner's national culture, the characteristics of his worldview. It is always a dialogue of cultures.

The problems and content of telecommunications projects should be such that their implementation quite naturally requires the use of the capabilities of computer telecommunications. In other words, far from any projects, no matter how interesting and practically significant they may seem, can correspond to the nature of telecommunications projects. How to determine which projects can be most effectively implemented with the involvement of telecommunications?

Telecommunication projects are pedagogically justified in those cases when, in the course of their implementation:

    multiple, systematic, one-time or long-term observations of one or another natural, physical, social, etc. phenomenon are provided for, requiring the collection of data in different regions to solve the problem; provides for a comparative study, study of a particular phenomenon, fact, event that has occurred or is taking place in different areas to identify a certain trend or make a decision, develop proposals, etc.; a comparative study of the effectiveness of using the same or different (alternative) methods of solving one problem, one task is provided to identify the most effective solution acceptable for any situations, i.e. to obtain data on the objective effectiveness of the proposed method for solving the problem; joint creative development of some idea is proposed:
    purely practical (for example, breeding a new plant variety in different climatic zones, observing weather phenomena, etc.),
    or creative (creating a magazine, newspaper, play, book, piece of music, proposals for improving training course, sports, cultural joint events, folk holidays, etc., etc.); It is planned to hold exciting adventure joint computer games and competitions.

With distance learning, the cognitive role of the student, the independent activity of each student, the application of the acquired knowledge in practice and a clear understanding of where, how and for what purposes this knowledge can be applied are activated. There is an opportunity to work together, in cooperation, in solving various problems, while demonstrating certain communication skills, the possibility of wide communication with peers from other schools in their region, other regions of the country and even other countries of the world, the possibility of free access to necessary information not only in the information centers of their school, but also in scientific, cultural, information centers around the world in order to form their own independent, but well-reasoned opinion on a particular problem, the possibility of its comprehensive study.

Distance education is a term that is used in relation to a wide range of educational programs and courses, ranging from advanced training courses that do not have accreditation to accredited programs. higher education, which realize the possibility of close communication between students and their teachers and fellow students, as is the case with full-time education. Currently, distance learning (DL) has become quite widespread in Russia.
The first and most successful project was the DL system of the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics (now MESI University). Currently, about 20 thousand people are studying at the SDO MESI. First of all, there is NO DISTANCE FORM of education in Russia. There is only full-time, part-time, part-time (evening) education and external studies.
