About the college
Leading its history since the establishment of the Moscow Medical School No. 20 in 1984, Medical College No. 2 in our time is actively leading educational activities aimed at the professional training of qualified medical personnel. From the very beginning of its activity, the educational institution has been a conductor of new pedagogical technologies, innovative ideas and a source for the development of college staff and students.
The educational institution trains paramedics (specialty "General Medicine") and nurses ("Nursing"). The college accepts applicants with a base in the form of a complete secondary education, as well as graduates of the main secondary school(Grade 9). The uniqueness of the Medical College No. 2 lies in a huge valuable resource - a creatively minded experienced team that improves the secondary medical education states. The favorable environment that has developed in the educational institution in the conditions of partner interaction of participants contributes to the professional training of students educational process. College teachers actively cooperate with international partners, take part in pedagogical competitions, apply innovative educational technologies on the basis of the college. Currently, college employees are part of the working group responsible for the development methodological support GEF-3 for medical specialties. Medical College No. 2 cooperates with many metropolitan medical schools, which makes it easier for college graduates to enter the ranks of university students.
Logistics learning activities in college - one of the main development strategies. Classrooms for studying a number of special disciplines are equipped with equipment corresponding to modern requirements to medical institutions. Surgical and therapeutic subjects are mastered in classrooms with different equipment. Funds are regularly allocated to upgrade existing resources, and classrooms and laboratories are equipped with the necessary equipment. At the service of students who wish to improve their knowledge in selected subjects, there are extensive library funds with a reading room. Computer classes serve to independent work students, as well as for the development of a number of information disciplines. Medical services for students are provided by a qualified nurse with experience in public medical institutions, and a full-fledged medical center operates. Classes for physical education carried out in an equipped gym with sufficient supplies. The assembly hall in the educational building is used for graduation and educational events. The college does not have a hostel. In the dining room of the main academic building, hot meals are organized for students and staff of the Medical College No. 2.
IN College of Education Maryina Roshcha has created an appropriate material and technical base for the training of qualified specialists who meet modern labor market requirements. Teaching staff builds its activities and implements educational programs in close cooperation with the employers of the city of Moscow and higher educational institutions. Stable relationships with strategic partners allow graduates to secure employment in their specialty and continue their education. The college implements secondary vocational education. Education at the College provides a smooth transition from secondary vocational education to the development of college programs and the training of qualified mid-level professionals. According to the Federal State educational standard, during the period of study, college students undergo mandatory practice at enterprises and institutions in Moscow.
One of the important areas of work of the MGHAU in memory of 1905 is associated with its role as a coordinating and methodological center for all schools in the country. Councils of directors of art schools are constantly held on the basis of the school Russian Federation, advanced training courses for managers and teachers of special disciplines, working programs and author's methods are being developed. In addition, student exhibitions and events are constantly held on the basis of the school, which are an integral part of the educational process.
Moscow College of Hospitality Industry and Management No. 23 is a unique institution of secondary vocational education. Today the college has over 1500 students.
