Breaking in a baby if the father is a drug addict. Video - Children's breaking of newborns is one of the health problems. What to do if the child is a drug addict

Although many experts are surprised by this picture, drug addicts often become parents. Narcotic substances have a negative effect on erectile functions, and make women infertile, however, there are situations when drug addicts with a solid experience manage to produce offspring, which, frankly, are almost never healthy.

Children of drug addicts

Many girls mistakenly believe that if they stop using drugs when they find out about the pregnancy, then the baby will not be in danger, but this is not at all the case. Bad influence drugs, even if mommy has tied up with such addictions, will threaten the unborn child for another 8-10-year period.

In addition to the deviations with which babies are born thanks to their drug addict parents, they have a very unremarkable childhood. After all, he simply cannot provide the necessary care for the child, because he is constantly in search of a new dose. As a result, children born to drug addicts grow up to be the same drug addicts and juvenile delinquents.

According to statistics from drug addicted parents quite rarely healthy children are born. Approximately 80% of parents varying degrees dabbled in drugs, children are born with various anomalies and malformations.

And even if a newborn child is relatively healthy, the consequences of the "stormy" youth of the parents can emerge in the puberty period.

Physiological problems

Already from birth, such children (if they are still born) are addicted to drugs. He gets hooked on drugs while still in the womb. For this reason, newborn children of drug addicts often die after birth as a result.

If they survive, then they will never be able to become completely healthy:

  • First, their body constantly requires the drug;
  • Secondly, they usually have serious congenital abnormalities;
  • Thirdly, their immune status is critically low, so they are constantly sick.

Speaking about the children of such mothers, it is worth saying that it is no longer possible to correct the consequences of the narcotic harm caused by the parents of drug addicts. Various drugs have various influences on the fetus and its birth, therefore, they should be analyzed separately.
On a video about children born of drug addicts:

Heroin

Children who were born by their mothers are 100% drug addicts already at birth and are distinguished by very deplorable forecasts for later life:

  1. Quite often, such newborns die in the first hours after birth due to severe withdrawal symptoms and heroin withdrawal;
  2. If the child still survives, then he noticeably lags behind his peers in physical development;
  3. Quite often, these children die from sudden death syndrome, which occurs in them much more often than in ordinary babies.

Amphetamine

It affects the fetus similarly to cocaine, it causes vasospasm and hypoxic lesions. In addition, a pregnant woman who uses such drugs is characterized by a prolonged lack of weight, which cannot but affect the unborn child. Against the background of such exposure, in combination with oxygen starvation and nutritional deficiency, intrauterine fetal death often occurs.

If the newborn is lucky, and he still appears, then his condition will be deplorable - severe exhaustion, a constantly lethargic state, lack of appetite, refusal of the breast and severe weight loss.

Cocaine

A narcotic substance such as cocaine causes increased pressure in the fetus, provokes vascular spasms. During pregnancy, cocaine is excreted from the mother's body much more slowly, so the poisoning of the mother and child will be much stronger, with all the ensuing consequences.

Cocaine exposure leads to many negative effects:

  • Against the background of vascular spasms, hypoxia and malnutrition of the fetus develop, which is fraught with various developmental anomalies or death;
  • In addition, cocaine provokes the occurrence of strokes or placental abruption;
  • If the child is still born alive, then he will most likely have congenital genitourinary pathologies.

LSD

Such drugs as are considered relatively young, so the degree of their negative impact on the fetus and newborn has not been finally clarified. Judging by the latest observations, we can definitely say that “club drugs” provoke placental detachment, deviations in physical development, and mutational changes.

Marijuana

Many women, indulging in or any other narcotic substances of smoking use, do not consider them dangerous for the body of the unborn baby. A completely stupid and wrong attitude, because even ordinary cigarettes have a negative effect on the fetus, what can we say about herbs with a narcotic effect. And yet, what kind of children are born to those who like to smoke "joint"?

Such preparations contain tetrahydrocannabiol substances, which enter the maternal blood in large quantities, and then into the fetal bloodstream. As a result, the risks of premature birth, miscarriage, intrauterine development disorders, etc. increase. Moreover, with an increase in the number of cigarettes smoked with drugs, the degree of underdevelopment of the fetus increases. A child is born with a pronounced underweight and with a reduced head size, has visual and auditory pathologies, and suffers from cerebral palsy.

Psychological problems

The child of an addict mother or father is never born completely normal. Each baby has his own disorders, so they are often abandoned, refusing them in maternity hospitals and joining the ranks of orphanages. The future of such babies is very deplorable, since it is impossible to find parents for them. Nobody wants to adopt a child with a similar heredity and a bunch of psychophysiological problems:

  • These children often have attention deficit disorder;
  • Hyperactivity may also be present.

Such conditions impede the child's ability to concentrate, disrupt the processes of memorization and learning, and provoke mental illness.

Usually children born from drug addicts live short life without feeling parental warmth and affection, in deep loneliness and deprived of love. Even if a drug-addicted mother does not give up such a child, nothing good awaits him in life. A drug addict mother will not be able to give even that care, upbringing and mental development that would have been received in an orphanage.

Born from drug addicts, they themselves become drug addicts in the future if they live to this age. Such children often suffer from drug withdrawal syndromes, similar to withdrawal, which are eliminated only by a dose of a narcotic substance.

If congenital drug addiction was weakly expressed, then when being in a family of drug addicts, it will still lead the child to a similar end.

No matter how terrible it sounds, drug addict parents often push their children to commit crimes (theft, robbery, prostitution, etc.) so that the child can get the necessary funds for their next dose. It happens that such "parents" even sell children for porn shooting or into slavery.

Therefore, whatever one may say, normal full life these children will not. For the thoughtlessness of his parents, he pays with his life and health, while suffering much more than the culprits of his birth.

If people have ever used drugs, but have now stopped doing it and decided to have children, then they need to wait about 10 years for the body to finally clear itself of the negative effects of these substances. This time is necessary for former drug addicts to restore brain changes and eliminate regressive changes in intelligence. It will be useful for the expectant mother to cleanse the body, undergo a thorough examination and pass all the necessary tests that the gynecologist will prescribe.

Even after careful pregnancy planning, former drug addicts still have a chance of having an unhealthy baby. Therefore, a pregnant woman needs to be constantly under the supervision of an obstetrician-gynecologist and carefully follow all appointments.

Despite the fact that regular drug use weakens the potency in men and dramatically reduces the reproductive function in women, nevertheless, drug addicts, who are also, as a rule, promiscuous, have children. A mother during pregnancy is not able to end her addiction, believing that this cannot harm her child. And most often, the fate of the baby does not bother her at all.

Children born from drug addicts are already from birth, since all psychotropic substances easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier and the child receives them with the blood of his mother, so he can die immediately after birth from breaking. These babies will never be normal and healthy. In addition to the fact that their body requires a drug, they also have weak immunity and have serious congenital abnormalities in development. The harm that an addict mother does to her child cannot be remedied.

Even if the baby miraculously manages to survive, then his life in the family of parents who use drugs turns into hell. Not only do they not pay little man necessary attention, but also subject him to moral and physical violence. Compared to other children, he feels inferior, which cannot but affect his mental state.

In order to understand what kind of children are born to drug addicts, it is necessary to consider the specific harm that a particular drug causes to a child in the womb.

. The tetrahydrocannabiols contained in this type of psychotropic drug enter the mother's bloodstream, and from there into the blood of the fetus. This provokes miscarriages, premature births, intrauterine growth retardation. The more a mother consumes marijuana cigarettes, the less developed the baby will be at birth. He has a significantly lower weight and head circumference compared to his peers.

. The effect of this drug is manifested in an increase in fetal pressure and leads to vasospasm. The metabolic features of a pregnant woman are such that cocaine is excreted much more slowly, which means that the risk of poisoning both the mother and her unborn child is much higher. The fetus, under the influence, receives less oxygen and nutrients, since spasm of the vessels of the placenta prevents normal blood flow. Hypoxia leads to impaired development or death. The death of a baby can also occur as a result of a stroke or placental abruption. If such a child is born, then he often has diseases of the genitourinary system.

. Their effects are similar to cocaine. Drug addicts who use this one also have a very poor appetite. The combination of hypoxia of the placenta and chronic lack of nutrients ends for the baby with either death in the womb, or severe malnutrition at birth. These babies are lethargic, sleepy, suckle poorly and lose a lot of weight.

. A child born to a mother using is already a 100% drug addict, and may die in the first hours after birth from real withdrawal. He is developmentally behind. In such mothers, the number of children with sudden death syndrome exceeds the usual statistics by 20 times.

. There is still no reliable data on the effect of this substance on the fetus, but according to assumptions, it can cause mutations, developmental delay, placental abruption. Often, drug addicts are not limited to using this substance alone, which completely eliminates its so-called “safety”.

. Most often, the vapors inhaled by drug addicts contain toluene. It leads to atrophic changes in the cerebral cortex, reduces intellectual abilities. It also affects the fetus. A child born from a drug addict has the same abnormalities as with alcohol abuse. He often has a splitting of the sky, a flat bridge of the nose, overgrowth of the corners of the eyes. In addition to low intelligence, he has mental disorders. It is not uncommon for a baby to be born with hydrocephalus (hydrocephalus) or with a very small head.

These are the children born to drug addicts - video

This video is not pleasant, so impressionable people we advise you not to watch it.

It is worth noting that the use of even soft drugs, which are allowed in some countries, cause not only physical harm to the fetus. The parents of the baby, who are constantly high, are unlikely to be able to give the newborn the necessary attention, and this can cause his death.

Often, the poisoning of a child is not limited to one drug. Many drug addicts still smoke and drink alcohol, which increases the harmful effects many times over.

Even if during pregnancy or before her mother was able to end the addiction, then in this case there is no full guarantee that a healthy and full-fledged baby will be born. Newborn children of drug addicts, even former ones, are often born with a cleft lip or cleft palate, they have congenital heart disease, cerebral palsy and other types of pathologies.

Children born to drug addicts most often have many health and psychological problems. They often suffer the same fate as their parents, abuse illegal substances, break the law, or never make it to adolescence. Much depends on what kind of drug and how long the parents took it.

child birth statistics

Many pregnant drug addicts believe that the effect of drugs on the fetus is not realized if they stop using before childbirth. But it's not. Even with a temporary cessation of drug use, the fetus in the mother's abdomen will be poisoned by toxins and other substances that are not excreted from the body.

According to statistics, only 20% of children are born healthy, while the remaining 80% suffer from various pathologies or have an innate addiction to drugs, experience withdrawal symptoms. Children of former drug addicts may grow up in relatively good health and without a pronounced addiction to drugs, but during adolescence they can become seriously addicted to illicit substances, having cravings for them "in the blood."

If after the birth of a child, the parents return to their former lives, then the baby will have an unenviable future. In addition to unstable psychological state, children in a family of drug addicts can endure constant beatings, bullying, parents can turn them into a way of earning money by forcing them to engage in prostitution or steal.

Physiological abnormalities

The effect of drugs on heredity is devastating. Great amount newborns die a few hours after birth due to drug withdrawal, because they were addicted to drugs in the womb. The list of the most common congenital problems includes:

  • A low level of immunity, which is why children get sick almost all the time;
  • Serious congenital abnormalities;
  • Innate addiction to drugs on a psychological or physical level;
  • Mutations.

It is no longer possible to change the situation and children will have to pay for the mistakes of their parents all their lives. In order to give birth to a healthy child, it is recommended to completely get rid of drug addiction, undergo examinations, and, having made sure of the cure, conceive a child only eight years after that. Then there is a chance to give birth to a healthy child without an innate addiction to drugs. If your husband is a former drug addict, then try to refrain from conceiving children for this particular period, otherwise there is a high probability of deviations in the baby.

Psychological deviations

Children born to drug addicts have many and psychological problems. Due to physical pathologies or other reasons, they are often left in maternity hospitals or simply thrown out into the street. Once in orphanages, such children are faced with the cruelty of others, they do not want to be adopted. Doctors often diagnose them with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. All this is the basis for the development of mental illness, interferes with learning and living a normal life, the baby cannot concentrate on one task, which is why he often receives comments from adults.

Living with parents, the outcome will also not be favorable, because if parents continue to use, they do not give the child proper attention and care, because of which he himself goes out into the street, breaking the law or becoming a drug addict. According to doctors, most children born to mothers or fathers by drug addicts do not survive to adolescence due to numerous pathologies and congenital drug withdrawal. Being in an ordinary family, a teenager also runs the risk of ending his life from an overdose.

The effect of different types of drugs on the newborn

Children of mothers of drug addicts are born with addiction, this can be seen from a number of behavioral signs, tremor, tension in the body, hyperexcitability syndrome. We will talk about the impact of the main types of drugs on the health and future life of the baby:

  • Heroin. In most cases, the newborn dies within a few hours due to severe withdrawal. Surviving children are lagging behind in physical development, they can die from sudden death syndrome, which is found in the child of a drug addict mother much more often than in ordinary children.
  • Amphetamine. Children are born in an emaciated state, do not have a good appetite and often refuse to eat. A significant part of babies die even inside the womb of their mother, due to oxygen starvation and insufficient nutrients.
  • Cocaine. During pregnancy, the illicit substance is excreted from the body much more slowly, which is why great harm receive both the mother and her child. The main consequences of drug use include possible death in the womb due to constant vascular spasms, the development of pathologies of internal organs, stroke, placental abruption, pathologies of the genitourinary system.
  • LSD. Scientists are still finding out the full range of consequences from this type of drug, because it is relatively young, and therefore, to find out everything Negative consequences so far failed. The use of these drugs by the mother can lead to a mutation of the child (extra arms, legs, fingers grow), placental abruption and physical pathologies of the newborn.
  • Marijuana. Often women smoke marijuana or hashish, reassuring themselves that these are soft drugs and they will not do any harm. This is not true. Doctors have long paid attention to the harm of even ordinary tobacco products and the consequences for the fetus, not to mention negative impact smoking drugs. First of all, the likelihood of miscarriage, premature birth and various problems associated with intrauterine development of the fetus increases. Such children are often diagnosed with cerebral palsy, as well as pathologies associated with hearing and vision, they may lag behind in mental development from other children.

If you are planning to have a child, then first leave the addiction. In our clinic, you can get rid of physical and psychological addiction, rehabilitation. Then the chance to give birth to a healthy child increases.

Social causes of drug addiction

The social causes of drug addiction encourage adolescents and adults to use illegal substances. The first category is most susceptible to the influence of the surrounding people in the transitional age, the so-called puberty, when an inner rebel boils in them and they want to prove to the whole world how mature and independent they have become.

The situation becomes more complicated if the child's parents are drug addicts or former drug addicts, then his blood genetic level there is an addiction to illegal substances and having tried them, psychological and physical dependence can develop faster than usual.

An additional factor may be self-doubt, problems in the family and other life troubles. It is then that adults and adolescents try to forget themselves with the help of drugs, at least for a while, to escape from the troubles surrounding them. In this case, the addict needs comprehensive professional assistance, which can be provided in our clinic.

It is known that any narcotic drugs have the most negative effect on male potency, and a woman is made incapable of childbearing. Nevertheless, drug addicts have children, that is, drug addiction is not an absolute sentence to infertility. And at the same time, drug addicts, think about what your children will be born, what fate you are preparing for them, and what will be their life path. After all, the ability to conceive a child is simple, but to raise him as a full-fledged person is a whole science in which there is no place for frivolity and irresponsibility. During pregnancy, drug addicted mothers-to-be are unable to stop drug abuse and the fetus is damaged.

In addition to serious disorders and pathologies in the children of drug addicts on the part of the internal organs, the proportions of body parts, they still have big problems of mental development. Children are abandoned, the attention of their parents is absorbed in the search for narcotic doses, there are no living conditions and maintenance. Naturally, if such children can grow up, they will have a clear tendency to drug addiction than other children from socially prosperous families.

What kind of children do drug addicts have

Narcotic substances are very harmful to the body, even if some of the pregnant women decide to do without them during their pregnancy. Without a good cleansing of the body fluids and internal organs in the female body, the chance of getting a healthy baby is very small. Harmful substances are stored in deposits in the human body and toxic substances gradually, entering the bloodstream, produce a poisonous effect. The placental barrier is not a problem for them.

Women drug addicts have children with severe mental retardation and genetic mutations. The proportions of the child's body are violated, children have a small head, wolf's mouth, cleft lip, fused eyelids.

There is an erroneous opinion that "soft" drugs - hashish, marijuana - will not harm the unborn child. In fact, newborns have dystrophy, lack of weight. Women who smoke often experience premature birth, lack of immunity in children. Newborns have impaired vision and hearing. Gradually, as the child grows, symptoms and signs of cerebral palsy begin to appear.

Cocaine use during pregnancy increases the risk of cerebrovascular accident in the child in the form of a stroke and damage to the urinary system of the fetus. Women with cocaine addiction often experience stillbirth.

The drug amphetamine makes the child mentally and physically retarded, since during the gestation of the fetus in the mother's body, the balance of blood circulation is disturbed.

Heroin addiction causes sudden death syndrome in infants. Surviving children have mental underdevelopment, impaired motor and speech development.

Abuse of LSD in pregnant women is accompanied by premature birth, placental abruption, miscarriages. At birth, a child has a very increased risk of genetic mutations.

Children from parents who indulge in “soft” cannabis-based drugs have no less serious consequences: cases of sudden death, mental and motor retardation, accidents in the absence of proper child care.

What is the future of children born to drug addicts?

Children of drug addicts, as well as alcoholics, cannot be full-fledged. Often, drug addicts abandon the child and leave him in the care of children's department hospitals. Along with problems in the health and development of such children, their chances of being brought up in a good patronage family are decreasing. Abandoned children absorb loneliness, dullness, distrust of the world and people. It is very difficult for them to become a normal member of society. And then ... what will they be able to give good things to their future children if this was not in their life?

If drug addicts still do not give up their child, then what can they provide him with? Kindness, love, attention, care, care? We cannot give a child what we do not have ourselves. Drug addiction is passed from negligent parents to their children. Children of drug addicts may experience inexplicable cravings for drugs, drug withdrawal. Especially with heroin addiction.

The lack of constant proper care for the child by the parents of drug addicts, as well as their negative life experience, leads to the fact that the child will not see anything good in his life and will not instill good. A drug addict will do anything for the sake of a drug, not an exception - a drug addict parent. There are cases when, in order to obtain money and drugs, drug addict parents trade their child.

What to do when a child is a drug addict?

It also happens that normal parents sometimes have children who become drug addicts. Therefore, it is important to know the signs and symptoms of drug use. It is unacceptable to turn a blind eye to the problem of drug addiction and, at the same time, panic is also not worth it. Seeking help from a drug addiction specialist is the best way out of crisis situations due to drug addiction in children.

The most difficult age for children and vulnerable to drug addiction is 15-18 years. The following points may be alarming in adolescence:

  1. Frequent mood swings.
  2. Changes in the social circle of a teenager - the emergence of new adult "friends" that do not inspire confidence, at the same time - the rupture of old friendships with childhood friends.
  3. Appetite disorders. He does not eat anything all day, and in the evening he has a "wolf" appetite.
  4. Behavior appears unmotivated irritability and aggression.
  5. School truancy and a sharp decline in academic performance.
  6. Money and valuables begin to disappear in the house.

If this is the case, do not drag out a serious conversation with the child. Think carefully, weigh everything, start a conversation with the child on an equal footing, without attacking him. Be diplomatic - this is the key to success. Then the teenager will not fall off the chair and leave you, wherever your eyes look until the very night. Talk to him heart to heart. Let it open. Say that you suspect that something bad is happening to him. Tell us about the dangers of drugs, about how you cope with your problems on your own, without any psychoactive substances.

Easily formed drug addiction is easy to miss. If this happened, do not kill yourself and do not blame yourself for all the sins. Take it easy. Rational and bright decisions are born only in mental and nervous peace. The parents were never to blame for the fact that the child became a drug addict entirely. The whole society is to blame, which has not developed and has not matured to a perfect social creative model of behavior and world order. Of course, it means a lot from parents, but not all.

Contact a narcological clinic, a dispensary, a polyclinic, a narcologist. Consult. Let your teenage child change his lifestyle, social environment for a useful one, he needs a social, psychological help. Don't gloss over the problem or run away from it. You can't run away from it, it won't dissolve. It can only be solved directly, openly and with the help of professional specialists who should not be shy to contact.

Often, their children are responsible for the sins of parents. This applies not least to the families of drug addicts. This is one of the main risk groups in relation to those born from drug addicts, who always have some kind of pathology. Drinking has never led to anything good. Even if the drug addict "tied up", it is highly recommended not to have children for about 10 subsequent years.

Some, ignoring all the advice of doctors, still become parents. What deviations in this case can have When using even light hemp-based products that are legalized in some countries, the manifestation of various kinds of pathologies in a newborn is almost inevitable. Especially often they have a so-called Such a terrible event can happen at any time during the first year of a baby's life. Dystrophy is another common disease in the children of "marijuana" addicts. Very often, women who smoke weed before or during pregnancy give birth to dead children.

In the same case, if the father or mother used, say, cocaine, the unborn baby may experience a disorder of the urinary system. Also, such children of drug addicts suffer from sudden strokes. It is the “cocaine” addicts who most often give birth to dead children.

Heroin use leads to the birth of mentally retarded babies with impaired speech and motor skills. The chemical drug LSD often causes miscarriages.

Doctors often diagnose genetic mutations in babies born.

Not only do the children of drug addicts often have a number of diseases, they also do not receive proper care. After all, it usually happens that their parents do not need anything but the next dose. Being in search of her or drugged by some drug, they absolutely do not pay any attention to their baby. This is another terrible consequence of drug use. Left to their own devices, these children often become drug addicts or criminals themselves.

Congenital deformities of such babies are often simply terrifying. Meanwhile, the children of drug addicts (the photographs confirm that they have disorders and malformations) are absolutely not to blame for the weakness of their parents. Doctors all over the world are looking for remedies that could make their life easier. For example, recently scientists from Israel have learned how to restore the brain destroyed by heroin.

This development, unfortunately, is still only in the experimental stage. In its course, experiments were carried out on mice. Females were injected with certain doses of heroin. Having “hooked” them on the drug in this way, they waited for the appearance of mice. The sick pups were injected with stem cells into the hippocampus. As a result of the operation, “local” cells began to actively divide, as a result of which the damaged brain structure was restored. Perhaps the continuation of these studies will lead to a positive result. In this case, it will be possible to save many children whose parents actively used heroin from various kinds of pathologies, and they will no longer have to pay for the sins of their mothers and fathers.

It leads to the saddest consequences, and the worst thing is not only for the people who inject, smoke and sniff. Even in early youth, it is worth taking care of your future life and the fate of your offspring. Sick children of drug addicts suffering innocently - what could be worse?
