The educational institution went through the following stages of formation and development: from the Borisov vocational school-85 (1966) to the Borisov professional lyceum No. 1 (2001), then by merging with the Borisov vocational school-121 of mechanical engineering (1974) the first region, a multidisciplinary educational institution "Borisov State Polytechnic Vocational Lyceum" (2002), and in 2007 - Borisov State College by merging with Borisov pedagogical college(1980).

The Museum of the History of Vocational and Secondary Specialized Education of the Minsk Region was created in the college.

An agreement on international cooperation was concluded with professional lyceum No. 3 of the city of Svetly, Kaliningrad region.

Borisov State Polytechnic College began its existence in 1965 as an evening branch of the Minsk Polytechnic College.

It has existed as an independent educational institution since June 1968. It was then that the Borisov Polytechnic College was created.

In 2000, the technical school was transformed into the Borisov State Polytechnic College.
