Demonstration options for the OGE in biology 2009-2014 consisted of 3 parts: tasks with a choice of answers, tasks with a short answer, tasks with a detailed answer.
2013 in the part 2 (B) was added a practice-oriented task for correlating the morphological features of an organism or its individual organs with the proposed models according to a given algorithm.
In 2014 in demonstration version of the OGE in biology the following changes:
- in part 1(A) to 2 was abbreviated number of tasks
- in part 2 (B) was added a new task with a choice of three correct answers out of six;
- in part 3(C) was new task included on the application of biological knowledge in a practical situation;
- the total number of tasks has not changed, but the maximum primary score for completing the exam risen from 43 to 46.
In 2015 in demo version of the OGE in biology, the structure of the option has changed:
- The variant began to consist in two parts.
- Numbering assignments has become through throughout the variant without letter designations A, B, C.
- The form of recording the answer in tasks with a choice of answers has been changed: the answer has become necessary to write digit with the number of the correct answer(not circled).

1. Appointment of KIM for OGE- to assess the level of general education in biology of graduates of the ninth grade of general educational organizations for the purpose of the state final certification of graduates. It manifests itself in the selection of controlled content and the construction of the structure of control measuring materials. The structure of the examination paper is represented by the same number of parts and the types of tasks used.
5. Characteristics of the structure and content of KIM
The work includes 32 tasks and consists of two parts.
Part 1 contains 28 short answer items: 22 basic level items with a one-digit answer; 6 tasks of an increased level of complexity, of which 2 with the choice and recording of three correct answers out of six, 3 for establishing the correspondence between the elements of two information series (including the task for including terms and concepts omitted in the text, for correlating morphological features of an organism or its individual organs with the proposed models according to a given algorithm), 1 to determine the sequence of biological processes, phenomena, objects.
Part 2 contains 4 tasks with a detailed answer, of which: 1 of an increased level of complexity for working with text, involving the use of information from the text of contextual knowledge to answer the questions posed; the rest of the high level of complexity: 1 for the analysis of statistical data presented in tabular form; 2 on the application of biological knowledge to solve practical problems.

The list of additional materials and equipment, the use of which is allowed at the OGE, is approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. It is allowed to use a ruler and a non-programmable calculator in the biology exam.
The examination paper consists of two parts, including 32 tasks.
Part 1 contains 28 short answer tasks, part 2 contains 4 long answer tasks.
Answers to tasks 1-22 are written as a single digit, which corresponds to the number of the correct answer. Write this figure in the answer field in the text of the work, and then transfer it to the answer sheet No. 1.
Answers to tasks 23–28 are written as a sequence of numbers. Write this sequence of numbers in the answer field in the text of the work, and then transfer it to the answer form No. 1.
For tasks 29–32, a detailed answer should be given. Tasks are performed on the answer sheet No. 2.
The system for assessing the performance of individual tasks and the examination work of the OGE in biology as a whole
For the correct execution of each of the tasks 1–22, 1 point is given, in the other case - 0 points.
For the correct execution of each of the tasks 23–27, 2 points are awarded.
For answers to tasks 23 and 24, 1 point is given if the answer contains any two numbers presented in the answer standard, and 0 points in all other cases.
If the examinee indicates more characters in the answer than in the correct answer, then 1 point is reduced for each extra character (up to 0 points inclusive). For the answer to tasks 25 and 27, 1 point is given if one mistake is made, and 0 points if two or more mistakes are made.
For the answer to task 26, 1 point is given if any two positions of the answer do not contain the same character that is presented in the answer standard. If there are more errors, then 0 points are given.
For the complete correct completion of task 28, 3 points are awarded; 2 points if any one position of the answer does not contain the same character that is presented in the standard answer; 1 point is given if any two positions of the answer contain characters other than those presented in the answer standard, and 0 points in all other cases.
Tasks 29-32 are evaluated depending on the completeness and correctness of the answer.
