The army needs psychologists. When military service is more than work

In the army - everything is like in ordinary life. Here they work, sleep, eat, train, drive cars and even play with dogs. Everything is the same everywhere - but everything is completely different. The life of the military is subject to a special logic and routine, they solve other problems, they have their own psychology, which often leads them to success in civilian life. In a special series of materials, we will understand how military experience can be useful for a purely peaceful man.

No matter how much you feed the wolf, he keeps looking into the forest. So a man is drawn to military service, and nothing can be done about it - instinct. Although, of course, we all understand that the army is an army: they still force you to make beds in the morning, it’s still too fun there (those who served in the army don’t laugh at the circus) and they continue to dig there from the fence until lunch . Although they obviously do it somehow differently than before. There are moments when you suddenly want - like Tom Sawyer's friends wanted to participate in painting the fence - to at least temporarily join this difficult, but somehow tempting activity.

After all, no matter how we feel about the army, there are guys who can do a lot of things that we also would like to know: they drive the most powerful cars from time to time, they are in the best physical shape possible, they get involved in History capitalized. Yes, even some defense ministers have something to learn.

MH decided to find out what good the army can give a purely peaceful man. Ahead of us is a whole series of army stories - about service in the special forces of different countries, equipment, food, dogs, life on the largest warship in Russia. Let's start, perhaps, with the most important thing - with the so-called army psychology. You probably noticed that its owners often feel very good in a completely ordinary, “civilian” life: they successfully build a career, master new professions or open their own business. What is so special they learned in the army and which of us has every chance of getting a general's shoulder straps - read below.

10 subtleties of army psychology

1. About men's freedom

Is it true that he who does not know how to obey, does not know how to command? Yes, because this is the adequacy. Disobedience-submission is in any case an illusion, the same as “freedom”, “independence”, as we thought 20 years ago: oh, I am free, I am not subordinate to anyone. Businessman: is he not subordinate to anyone? Does a bank employee have independence? Freelancer? Also an illusion. Yes, a paradox, yes, theoretically, when one man submits to another, this contradicts male psychology. But in practice, no. We still obey, not only in the army, but in any profession. And the point here is that in any case, the same person simultaneously leads and simultaneously obeys someone.

Where is the line between the fact that you simply obey and learn to command in this way? Border - a sense of independence. Do not be afraid, do not grovel, do not plunge into the pure execution of someone else's will, namely, respect the authority. To grovel is not a virtue. You can unquestioningly fulfill the order, remaining yourself. The army cannot teach this, it has other tasks, the army is not a correctional school. Just like in the Airborne Forces, no one will persuade you to overcome your fear of heights. You either jump or you don't jump.

2. About how to wait for the bus

How is a security officer different from an ordinary civilian man? He is on duty all the time. He always tries to control the situation. A civilian - he just stands, maybe thinking, looking at a pretty girl, and this one looks at the girl, and at the grandmother, and at the peasant who passed, and at the homeless man who is messing around in the garbage - won't he throw something into this garbage can? The army cannot, of course, teach "how to stand at a bus stop," just as it cannot turn a slur into flint. Only lay down the worldview - and give the experience of accumulating victories over oneself. Even if you're just afraid to approach a girl on the street to get to know each other. The army does not teach you how to meet girls, but it teaches you inner self-confidence - and can help you overcome your fears.

3. About the control of aggression

Does the army teach a man to be aggressive? In fact, a high level of aggression is a contraindication for military service and special forces. The army does not instill aggression, and moreover, an overestimated level of aggression is a contraindication for serving as an officer.

4. About very extreme situations

It is believed that a modern man should have the ability to kill another man in the event of a dangerous situation. But the army does not teach this! Almost anyone can kill. In 1941, all the men and even some of the children and women suddenly turned into what? Actually - in murderers; huge country. Because inside, deep down, we are all animals. The ability to kill does not distinguish an army man from a non-army one. The army does not teach to kill. The army teaches to shoot. And then the ideology: to kill for what? If we look up the statistics on criminal cases related to murders, we will see that the majority of murderers are not military and police officers. This is direct evidence that the army or the police do not teach to kill.

5. About who not to become a general

Who absolutely will not become a general - from the point of view of a psychologist? Life is full of surprises, so anyone can become a general. But there is a list of "undesirable" types. Embittered, vindictive people. With a high level of aggression. Extreme melancholics - it is unlikely that a poetic person who insists that he needs nothing, he wants nothing, will hardly become a general.

6. About the ideal military man

Special military talents of men? Thinking: analytical, strategic and necessarily tactical - in combination. Faith in what you are doing: setting that I am right, and if there are many opinions, then mine is the best. And inner confidence that I am for a just cause. A sentimental man in the army is not really needed. A share of sentimentality is good, but only a share. A good commander thinks about the personnel, about each soldier. But if he thinks that every soldier has a mother, has children, he will not lead them on an attack or on a special mission.

7. About why the military needs irony

Dig from the fence to lunch. Or: dig here for now, and then I'll understand. And in life, we sometimes come up with some kind of irrational algorithm for children, a procedure to keep them occupied, to accustom them to a non-standard situation by repetition. The know-how of the army is to teach by repetition, no matter how absurd it may seem. The elementary endless drill - making beds, washing the collar - even this has a deeper meaning. A person must be aware that he does it for a reason, and then it will not bother him - he understands the ultimate goal. Good officers know how to treat this absurdity with irony. Yes, irony is supposed to be in the army. Why OMON trains with shields all day long: back and forth, back and forth. When three hundred people run at you, you need to develop a pattern of behavior at the cellular level. Otherwise, like a tanker stuck under water, you will climb into the hatch even contrary to common sense.

8. About the “forward instinct”

What qualities are needed to become a general? Sustainable motivation: a person does not scatter, goes in one direction. But if a person in a conversation is constantly distracted: oh, excuse me, oh, but you can have tea, oh, what is it with you, oh, wait ... Slackness is a bad quality for a general. This is necessarily an extrovert: manage, stimulate, interact; these are communication skills; the ability to make the right acquaintances, build relationships with people who can teach something. A melancholic who never leaves his hole is unlikely to become a general. But out-of-the-box thinking is more important than temperament. I know two generals. One is groovy, with a million ideas: let's play hockey, and also badminton, and let's skate and badminton at once! The other, on the contrary, is consistent, it is hard to switch to another. But both with non-standard thinking: what one has, what the second has a unique ability to be at the right time in the right place. Fart, forward instinct. professional intuition. Learnability - the ability to either grasp the material, or take perseverance, gnaw at the granite of science.

9. About how they check whether you are fit or not

In power structures they constantly teach something. Well, tell me what is behind you? What brand is the TV? What color is the closet? They train with repeated repetition, but for different things, of course: some need to develop a broad outlook, and tankers, on the contrary, need tunnel thinking.

There are aptitude tests and intelligence tests to reveal a person's profile - puzzles.

1. "The worst punishment for me is hard work." Yes, no, I don't know.

2. "If I said that the sky is below and that it is hot in winter, I would have to call the criminal: a) a bandit, b) a saint, c) a cloud."

3. “Many misfortunes are due to people who: a) try to make changes everywhere, although there are already satisfactory ways to solve problems; b) don't know c) reject promising new proposals.

Can a person with low IQ become a general? Unlikely. He's not smart enough.

10. About two pillows and one general

Can this be trained? Can! Everywhere. Instead of looking at the phone when we are waiting for someone, we find two objects around and begin to note for ourselves - the more the better, but not less than seven - the qualities that unite them. Chandelier and pillow! Or more difficult: we take two obviously identical, like twins, objects - two pillows, for example. What is different about them? No, the number of villi will not work: something that can be concretely proven. How will this help me if I want to become a general? And so: learn to think outside the box. The ability to find differences in objects is not directly related to the desire to become a general, but it contributes.

The corps of military psychologists will be doubled due to the inadequacy of the soldiers. One in four conscripts in the army without help can become suicidal

The Ministry of Defense will double the number of army psychologists in military units - up to 3 thousand people. Such measures are being taken due to the sharp deterioration in the state of the mentality of conscripts in recent years. Now every fourth conscript soldier needs the help of a psychologist - since the beginning of the year, according to the military, there have already been 83 cases of suicide.

“Modern youth is less resistant to stress. Alcohol, drugs, total Internet addiction form a person who finds it difficult to adapt in society, especially in a closed one, like in a military unit. Therefore, when they are pulled out of their microcosm, the psyche cannot stand it, ”Pyotr Korchemny, Professor of the Department of Psychology at the Military University of the Ministry of Defense, explained to Izvestia the decision of the military leadership.

Now, according to the World Health Organization, almost 7 million Russians regularly use drugs, of which almost 60% are young people aged 16 to 30. Every year, drug addiction causes the death of 30,000 young people. Only 4% of the total number of schoolchildren have not tried alcohol. Every seventh child is brought up in an incomplete family.

So far, there is only one psychologist in each brigade for every 3,000 conscripts, who is physically unable to pay attention to each soldier. In world practice, it is considered the norm when a specialist “leads” a group of no more than 500 people.

“It’s much easier to identify soldiers in a borderline state if you have regular conversations with a “risk group” — conflict or withdrawn young men, children from dysfunctional families, who have a criminal record, who have problems in their personal lives,” a psychologist from one of the ground brigades told Izvestia.

1.5 thousand new army psychologists will be recruited from civilian universities from psychology departments. The military themselves, of course, want graduates of the psychology departments of Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University, but a salary of 6-8 thousand rubles is unlikely to attract specialists from these universities.
“The main requirement is that education must be academic,” the Ministry of Defense emphasizes.

According to the human rights organizations of soldiers' mothers, every year, due to the desire of the military commissariats to fulfill the plan at all costs, up to 30% of military personnel are commissioned for hidden diseases, including mental ones.

- In 16 years of work, I saw military psychologists only in Chechnya. But they are of little use. After all, they still obey the commander of the unit: as he says, so be it. That's why soldiers come to us with their problems right away. And we directly to the military prosecutor. And we achieve our goal,” said Maria Fedulova, a representative of the Union of Committees of Soldiers’ Mothers of Russia.

The first full-time psychologist appeared in the Soviet army in 1976. Since then, the psychological service has been constantly changing, but has steadily remained in demand. Now military psychologists work in the armies of almost all neighboring countries, with the exception of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

In the US Army, which together with the reservists has about 2 million people, 60,000 ideological workers with a psychological education are fighting for the mental health of soldiers. Moreover, the number of psychologists in the combat zone has been increased several times.

And in the Israel Defense Forces, which is constantly in anticipation of war, all officers are responsible for psychology, who are supervised by a separate specialist who is directly subordinate to the General Staff.

Outside of Russia, the problem of suicide is most acute in the US and Japanese armies. In 2011, more than 160 American soldiers committed suicide. In the Russian army in 2009, 149 people were killed in this way, in 2010 - about 200.

Denis Telmanov

Our idea that military service is the destiny of the stronger sex, alas, does not correspond to reality. A woman in the army today is no longer a rarity: a doctor, a psychologist, a signalman, a drill officer.

The list of “completely female” positions is still very modest, but, perhaps, in a couple of years, Belarusian women will serve on an equal footing with men, as in the USA, Germany, and Israel. And yet, for a woman, is the army an accidental or a completely conscious choice? It is better to ask women about this. Oksana Lokteva is one of them. Her position is a military psychologist, her rank is senior lieutenant.

The path to the army

Oksana, tell us a little about yourself: where did you study, where did you work, how did you end up in the army?

— I was born in Kazakhstan, but in 1991 the family moved to Minsk. This move was associated with the transfer of his father to a new duty station. Here, in Minsk, I graduated in absentia from a branch of the Russian State Social University (Department of Psychology). The profession of a psychologist is working with people, this is the kind of work I like. Correspondence education gives the right to employment in the specialty from the fourth year, and my father advised me to try myself as a military psychologist. I took a risk. So my first place of work was the railway repair battalion of the military unit in Zhodino.

Is it possible to work as a military psychologist with a diploma from a civilian university?

- Most often, specialists with a “military psychologist” education work in military units, but there is such a problem as a shortage of personnel, especially in regional cities. The army is no exception. Therefore, specialists with civil education are invited. And there, how the work will go: if you can’t cope, they will point to the door.

Serving in the army for me is an ordinary job, but a very responsible one. I have no right to make a mistake, because I am responsible for the fate of the guys who trust me

- Aren't you afraid that you can't handle it?

— This feeling is typical for many novice specialists. And I had doubts about my own abilities. But I was lucky, I had wonderful people next to me. Both the commanders of the unit and my work colleagues were sympathetic to all the small shortcomings in my work and tried to help me with advice. I still remember them all with special warmth and I am very grateful for their support.

The work of a psychologist is an individual approach to each person. Here one theory is not enough, you need to have an understanding of the situation. I learned on the go, carefully analyzing each case from practice. It was then that I realized that the army for me is something more than a job, perhaps a vocation.

Working on a warning

What is the job of a military psychologist?

- This is work directly with the personnel of the unit, in the military registration and enlistment offices during the draft (after the medical examination, a psychologist works with the recruits), with the parents of the recruits. There are also business trips to recruit "conscripts" to the unit, and trips with personnel to the place of the exercises to strengthen measures for psychological adaptation.

- What problems do psychologists most often face in the army?

- Of course, there are different situations, but these are isolated cases, they are solved individually, taking into account the specific situation.

Now the army is not what it is remembered from Soviet times. A more serious approach to the needs of the army, some changes in legislation, an increase in funds for the upkeep of the army - all this is an incentive to organize a more comfortable social environment in military units, which means a calmer psychological environment. Problems with housing for officers are being resolved relatively stably, hazing is an almost forgotten concept, this is already an emergency. To be honest, I don’t remember such an emergency during my entire service in Zhodino and Slutsk.

As for the “conscripts”, problems happen, especially in the first months, while the guys get used to the new living conditions and get involved in the learning process.

- What problems do "conscripts" have?

- Most often, minor conflicts between privates due to misunderstanding of a particular situation, family troubles, fatigue, lack of sleep. I can name the main reasons for such conflicts.

The first reason is quarrels with girls, the second reason is troubles in the parental families, and as a result, protracted depression. The third reason is grinding between the guys, more often because of some household trifles.

This cannot be avoided even in the family, and even in labor collectives, in the army, and even more so. Different characters, upbringing, ability to learn and perform tasks affect. One blundered, but everyone answers - that's the reason for the next conflict.

In our unit, the work of a psychologist and deputy commander for ideological work is set up in such a way that situations are prevented, not extinguished. I want to note that the guys take our work for granted, without any prejudice.

Youth and army

- There is an opinion that today's youth for the most part is trying to "mow down from the army."

- This is not true. It's no secret that some guys, under any pretext, try to avoid military service, but there are not so many of them as a percentage of the total number of recruits. I would single out three main motives for such a position of young men.

The first is the unwillingness to change the usual way of life even for a year and a half, the second is religious considerations, and the third is the perception of a year and a half of military service as a waste of time.

Taking this opportunity, I want to remind these guys that military service is not an obligation and not a waste of time, it is an honorable duty worthy of strong men. Perhaps we women will be a good example for you in this ministry.

For those who do not want to serve the Motherland for pacifist or religious reasons, there is an exception to the general rules - you can serve without an oath. This means that no one will force you to shoot anyone under any circumstances. But you will learn to drive a car, build bridges and roads, pontoon crossings to perfection. Such skills can be quite useful in civilian life.

A little about personal

Have you ever wanted to leave the army?

- In the first years of work, when there was not enough experience, there were moments when I wanted to quit everything. Then I learned to control my emotions, and therefore, to control the situation.

Today my work for me is an ordinary job, but a very responsible one. I have no right to make a mistake, because I am responsible for the fate of the guys who trust me.

Of course, with such work at some point you still feel emotional overload. In these cases, the best way to relieve stress is to communicate with people close to me: parents, son, friends. It helps to relax in nature, and sometimes just be alone with yourself.

- How do you spend your free time?

- I don’t have much free time, but if I have a free day, I spend it with my child.

I have him, in the usual sense of the word, deprived of some of the joys of childhood: to sit an extra half an hour at the TV, play with the boys in the yard, even to be capricious. I often work late or on weekends, and besides, I go on business trips, so my child often spends the evenings with me at work, and spends the weekend with his grandparents.

If I have time, I knit on knitting needles, knitting calms me down. I am also happy to work for my son at the stove.

- Don't you regret that you left Minsk?

— Not at all. Slutsk suits me: a quiet, cozy, clean provincial town, quite comfortable for living.

In addition, I have my own apartment here, built in order of priority for a soft loan. Taking into account housing prices in Minsk, small towns are much more attractive for young people.

About the attitude towards women, about ranks and about the army with a female face

- How is a woman perceived in the army: on an equal footing with the stronger sex, or do they treat you condescendingly?

- Rather loyal and understanding. A woman is also a woman in the army. And in my case, it is also confidential: you will not entrust your personal secrets to everyone, but since you have trusted, then with the hope that these secrets are not for all ears.

- For what merit is the next title given? What rank can you personally achieve?

- The next military rank is awarded either after the expiration of the term for promotion in rank or for special services to the Motherland.

Now I am a senior lieutenant. And my options are limited by captain's stars.

- Do you think there will be more women in the Belarusian army in the coming years?

- I think yes. Given that now military universities are recruiting female cadets in many specialties, the presence of ladies in high command positions is not such a distant prospect. Our women can do everything: both family and service!

Help "Kur" era

♦ There are more than 380 women serving in junior officer ranks today.

♦ There are about 150 women senior officers.

♦ Of these, 57 lieutenant colonels.

♦ 5 women hold the rank of colonel.

♦ The total number of female officers in the Belarusian army has increased 3 times over the past 10 years.

MINSK, 27 Oct- Sputnik. The death of a conscript soldier Alexander Korzhych in a military unit in Pechy caused a wide resonance in society. Among other things, it became known that three conscript soldiers from Pechi were sent to the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health. The mother of one of the guys told reporters the day before that he complained that he "couldn't stand it anymore and was even ready to do something with himself."

Sputnik spoke with Sergey Osipchik, Deputy Director for Medical Affairs of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health, about whether military personnel often come to them and what can lead a soldier to suicide.

Since the beginning of the year - 19 soldiers

- Sergey Ivanovich, with what symptoms did the soldiers from Furnaces come to you?

Information about the hospitalization of a patient constitutes a medical secret in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Health Care" and the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Provision of Psychiatric Care". I can only say that we had no one from that unit (where conscript Alexander Korzhych - Sputnik) died. Were from another military educational institution.

- In what cases are military personnel usually hospitalized to you?

Firstly, pre-conscripts come to us for a psychiatric examination. We give our opinion, which goes to the military registration and enlistment office, and it decides on the basis of this document whether to call a person or not. The second category is conscripts. They come all the time, with various problems: there are also people in the army who also have difficulties. The Ministry of Defense puts before us the question: fit or not fit? We do not have the right to answer such a question, but we give a medical report on the state of health of the conscript, with which these servicemen go to the draft military commission in the military registration and enlistment office or the central military medical commission of the Ministry of Defense, which decide on the degree of fitness for military service. Well, and, accordingly, contract soldiers and officers. There is no specialized department in the Ministry of Defense, so they come to us.

- Is there any data on how many conscripts have arrived since the beginning of the year?

There were 19 soldiers. Of these, more than half are conscripts.

- What are the complaints?

As for conscripts, as a rule, this is a reaction of a violation of adaptation. In simple words, a person’s sleep is disturbed, he becomes anxious due to the failure to complete some tasks. In the army, a certain number of actions must be completed in a certain amount of time, that is, very quickly. Sometimes these actions are multidirectional, but the time is one. And a person has a so-called cognitive dissonance, when he needs to run in different directions at the same time. He stops sleeping. I didn’t sleep one night, the second ... Tension appears. The soldier does not rest, and the tasks are set one after another. And here the person is maladjusted. In such situations, people behave differently, as, in fact, in civilian life. One closes in on himself, experiences his own problems, the other allows the expression of aggression towards others, someone has an autaggressive state, that is, aggression directed at himself, which can also end in suicide.

Hazing raises bandits

- Have patients complained to you about relationships with colleagues? The fact that they could not join the team?

There are introverts and extroverts. An introvert tends to do the work alone, has less advanced communication skills. And you should not immediately blame the army for the fact that a person has problems with adaptation. It's harder to fit into a team like that. This is noticeable both at school and at the lyceum where he studied. The life that he had did not require communication skills from him, and in a military unit, often one thing needs to be done together. For example, they will tell the soldiers to drag a log. And in this matter, coherence is needed: in order to carry on one shoulder, to walk in step and at the same time to lay a log. But someone cannot do this: they lack communication skills, or they are physically weaker, or because of their lack of communication, this person thinks more slowly. As a result, coherence is broken, the task is not completed. And in the army, you know how it happens, and this is not only in ours, but also in the American and any other ... If someone in the unit does not complete the task, the unit receives a load or is given an additional exercise in coherence. It happens in your free time, when it is customary to relax. And here the whole unit works because of one person. What do they say to a guy in such cases? "Well, you're kind of wrong" - and that's the best case.

- Have there been any complaints about hazing?

Just imagine, two partners live together, one of them will be the leader in some matters, the other will be the follower. It's the same in the army, only everything is structured there. Young, energetic people gather. They have a unit commander who is the leader. But he is a formal leader, but there are also informal ones. If informal leadership in a subdivision does not coincide with formal leadership, or if a formal leader gives one setting, and an informal leader gives others, then there will be discord. When there is discord in the unit, when people are not united by one goal, inventing adventures for oneself begins. During military service in the Soviet army, my battalion commander said that a serviceman who is not engaged in combat training is an armed bandit. If such relationships begin, this is an indicator that people do not know what specific task is set at a certain time, or they are not busy, relatively speaking, with combat training.

The commander must be a psychologist

Recently, cases of suicide in the army have been widely discussed. What can move a soldier to lay hands on himself?

Suicide is always a state of preceding crisis. Always. Then you need to evaluate why this person at a given time in a given place found himself in a crisis. The person is not ready either for physical exertion, or is not ready to communicate with colleagues due to introversion, or does not understand what goals and objectives the unit faces. Then she becomes a little frustrated, anxious, her sleep is disturbed. There is no way out for communication either here or there, and you will not turn to the commander. And a person finds himself in a situation of crisis, i.e., the inability to complete the task due to lack of strength, time, coherence, etc. Everyone gets out of it in different ways. Someone begins to develop communication skills, the other is engaged in physical training, when at home he was not engaged in power loads, but in the army it catches up. And the crisis goes away, because the person becomes among all his colleagues.

There is another important point here. A young man enters the army unprepared, but he is given a certain adaptation period (1-2 months), during which he enters the rhythm. This is physical training, and a structured working day, and the implementation of tasks that are sometimes multidirectional. If the commander in the unit is experienced, he sees which person to send where. Like any leader, he understands who can complete the task and who is a little frustrated. "You, Ivanov, come here today, and you, Petrov, stay in reserve for now." When this is not there, when “Ivanov, go ahead, Ivanov, go ahead, Ivanov…”, it seems to Ivanov that life is over, and this situation of crisis will never end. Consult, he has no one to talk to. So he chooses this option.

- And how to understand by the behavior of a person that he is going to resort to such an option?

Firstly, a person stops communicating, closes in on himself. It can be seen that if earlier he was open emotionally, that is, smiling or responding to a smile with a smile, now this is not the case. He receives a letter from home and is not happy. Again, the commander, in theory, should look, relatively speaking, to joke. If a person used to respond to a joke, but now he doesn’t, it means that something happened, so we need to talk. The soldier develops insomnia, sometimes irritability, which is expressed in unwillingness to fulfill the order. But disobeying the order is unacceptable. When the commander understands that it is impossible to give a command to this person, it is necessary to assign another person to carry out the task, then this crisis does not develop. It never develops all at once. This is a chain of ordinary events that are piling up, piling up, and then bang - the man made a decision. Symptoms can also include anxiety and an avoidance reaction, when a person takes and leaves the unit for no one knows where and why.

There is a psychologist in the army. How does he work? According to the declarative principle, or is a soldier invited to a reception when they see that everything is not all right with him?

And so and so. A serviceman can write a report to the commander to be released from some kind of work. In such cases, the commander thinks, they say, why is he anxious, and advises to approach a military psychologist. Maybe a psychologist is not always available, but there is a political officer there. Each commander of a structural unit is already an empirical psychologist. Because the head of a unit, even a military unit, has tasks that he must complete with such a set of human resources. And if eight people carry a log, and one does not inform, then the commander sees it. And here you need to look: why does not inform or refuses to do it.

Of the important points, I would also note that there must be a correct selection of soldiers in units so that there are no such cases. It happens that a person was sent to a unit in which he simply physically cannot, because he does not have enough opportunities. Do not train him, he will not lift 200 kilograms.
