During the holidays in Moscow, public transport routes and their stops will change. The most popular ones will have additional buses, trolleybuses and trams.
On the festive night - from April 30 to May 1 - ground transport will carry passengers until 03:30. In addition, 11 night routes will operate that connect the city center with remote areas. They run at intervals of 15 to 30 minutes.
Free buses
On April 24, May 1, 8 and 10, 39 free bus routes will be launched on the line. “During the Easter week, Mosgortrans traditionally produces free buses to the most popular destinations these days. On such routes, we use up to 1.1 thousand buses every day,” said Evgeny Mikhailov, Director General of Mosgortrans State Unitary Enterprise.
Buses will run to the main city and suburban cemeteries:
- to the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery: from the metro stations "Vykhino" (No. E1, E2 with a stop at the Perovsky cemetery), "Novokosino" (No. E5) and "Shchelkovskaya" (No. E3);

It will be practically impossible to drive up to the cemeteries by personal transport these days. To ensure the smooth passage of buses, significant traffic restrictions are introduced, as well as temporary dedicated lanes.
Thus, Ruzskaya Street from Pokryshkin to Koshtoyants, Borovskoye and Vostryakovskoye Highways from Nikulinskaya to Ozernaya Streets, and Admiral Kornilov Street from Kaluga to Kievskoye Highway will be blocked around the Vostryakovsky cemetery.
Near the Shcherbinsky cemetery, Molodtsovsky passage and the overpass across the Simferopol highway from Typographic street to the cemetery will be closed.
For buses departing for cemeteries from the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station, Festivalnaya Street from Leningradskoye Shosse to Smolnaya Street will be closed.
Stratonavtov passage from Volokolamsky passage to Tushinskaya square and Projected passage No. 5492 from Fomicheva street to Planernaya will also be blocked.
A temporary dedicated lane will operate on Pyatnitskoye Highway from MKAD to Baryshikha - all these restrictions are needed for buses to Penyaginskoye and Mitinsky cemeteries.
