Methodology "Relationship Color Test"(CTO)
Children's version of the diagnosis of attitudes towards moral standards.
(modified by A.I. Lutoshkin)

DESCRIPTION
The color relationship test (CRT) is a non-verbal compact diagnostic method that reflects both the conscious and partially unconscious level of human relationships.
The technique is designed to study the emotional attitude of the child to moral standards.
The study is carried out individually.
MATERIALS
To conduct the CTO, you need a sheet of white paper (A4, 210 x 297 mm) and 8 Luscher cards of different colors (blue, green, red, yellow, purple, brown, black, gray).
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Eight colored cards are laid out in front of the child on white paper in random order. The child is asked to associate this or that concept with one of the colors lying in front of him.
After reading the instructions, the entire list of concepts is called. It is advisable to alternate positive and negative (but not paired) moral qualities. For example: kind, lazy, generous, deceitful (deceiver), hardworking ... etc. At the same time, colors can be repeated, that is, a child can choose the same color for different concepts.
The protocol records the color that was chosen for each concept and the child's comments.

INSTRUCTIONS: "Imagine that this is a magical house with magical windows. Different people live in it. I will call you people, and you yourself will choose who will live where. Agreed? Good! In which window do kind people live? And lazy ?"

PROCESSING AND INTERPRETATION When analyzing the results, it is necessary to correlate the color assigned to each concept and the emotional meaning of this color.
Below is a brief description of each color, its emotional and psychological meaning:
- Blue: conscientious, calm, somewhat cold.
- Green: independent, persistent, sometimes stubborn, tense.
- Red: friendly, outgoing, energetic, confident, irritable.
- Yellow: very active, open, sociable, cheerful.
- Violet: restless, emotionally charged, needing emotional contact.
- Brown: dependent, sensitive, relaxed.
- Black: silent, selfish, hostile, rejected.
- Grey: sluggish, passive, insecure, indifferent.

It is also worth remembering that the drawing was originally created for younger students in order to understand how the children got used to school and how much their opinion of themselves corresponds to reality.

The test of 20 men on a tree is surprisingly accurate in the current analysis of the situation. Therefore, it is worth returning to it for control and a better understanding of oneself. Alternatively, you can save a link to the test on social networks - buttons for likes on the side.

Figure without numbering
Method "Tree" L.P. Ponomarenko can be used to assess the success of a child's adaptation at the beginning of schooling and during the transition to the secondary level. The technique allows you to quickly determine the features of the course of the adaptation process, to identify possible problems of the child. Children, immersed in drawing activities, perform the proposed tasks with pleasure, easily identify themselves with one or another little man.

Students are offered sheets with a finished image of the plot: a tree and little men located on it and under it. Each student receives a sheet with a picture of a tree and little men located on it. (but without figure numbering).

Instruction:

“Consider this tree. You see on it and next to it a lot of little men. Each of them has a different mood, and they occupy a different position. Take a red felt-tip pen and decorate the little man who reminds you of yourself, looks like you, your mood at school and your position. Perhaps the higher the little man is on the tree, the higher his achievements, the more successful he is at school. Now take a green felt-tip pen and decorate the little man that you would like to be and in whose place you would like to be.

It happens that some children ask permission to indicate the positions of two little men.

In this case, their choice should not be limited, but it is necessary to fix which little man was marked first and which was marked second, since the ratio of these choices can be quite informative.

Interpretation of results:

The interpretation of the results of the implementation of the projective technique "Tree" is carried out on the basis of what positions this student chooses, with the position of which little man he identifies his real and ideal position, whether there are differences between them.

The interpretation was developed taking into account the experience of practical application of the methodology and comparison of its results with observations of the behavior of students, data received from teachers and parents, from a conversation with the child.

For ease of explanation, each figure is assigned a number.

It should be noted that students do not always understand position No. 16 as the position of “a little man who carries little man No. 17”, but tend to see it as a person supported and embraced by another.

The technique can also be used with younger children:

Thanks to the test, you can understand the level of self-esteem of the child, identify the causes of problems in communication and understand how adequately the child perceives himself in society.

Have the child look at the picture. It has 21 people and a tree. Everyone has their own occupation, everyone is in different places, they have a certain mood.

Then ask them to color the picture. Brown pencil - trunk and branches. During this time, the child will have time to consider all the little men better.

Then let the child color with a red pencil a little man who reminds him of himself, his own mood and position at school or among friends. And green - the little man who would like to be and in whose place you want to be.
