What documents are required for admission to the university. What documents are needed to enter the university? Documents for admission to the institute

So, the exam and graduation are behind, it would seem that applicants can breathe. But it was not there. Now they are waiting for, perhaps, the test is even much worse than the state exams. The time begins, which will forever be remembered not only by applicants, but also by their parents, because they often worry even more than graduates.

All useful information for university applicants can be found in this article.

What do university applicants need to know?

So, you have successfully passed the exams, but do not know what to do next. Let's start with some terminology for readers:

  • Applicants are school graduates entering a higher or secondary educational institution.
  • USE - Unified state exam, which is passed in the 11th grade for admission to higher educational institutions of the country.

Before you decide on the subjects for the exam, you probably thought about who you want to become. If the choice was random, then you will have to look for a university and a specialty that accepts the results of the subjects that you passed.

If you do not know how to decide on five universities for admission, sit down and think about what you would like to do, what profession you see yourself in. Write on a piece of paper all your skills, abilities and personality traits, analyze what kind of work all this would be useful. Based on this, choose the right university where you can get an education suitable for your future profession.

In addition, there are USE calculators that can be used to select a university based on the total scores of applicants' exams. This greatly simplifies the life of graduates and helps to solve the problem of choosing institutes and specialties.

Once you have decided on the universities, study in detail all the information about them. Applicants of institutes should clearly know the answers to the following questions:

  • What is this university?
  • What do they teach there?
  • Are there budget places? How much does commercial training cost?
  • Does the university provide a deferment from the army?
  • Are there famous alumni?
  • What is the scholarship?
  • Do students, teachers and graduates speak positively about the place of study?
  • What opportunities does the university give the applicant during their studies?
  • Is there a hostel (for nonresident applicants)?
  • What are the prospects after graduation?
  • What type of diploma is issued?
  • Find out about the accreditation of the university and the availability of a license, if the university is non-state, in order to avoid unpleasant situations.

These questions will help you make an informed choice. You cross the threshold of adulthood and move on to the next stage, in which it is undesirable to make mistakes. Therefore, you should think about the university and specialty more carefully. Moreover, you need to select one priority university out of five, to which you will send the original certificate. This will give you a huge advantage in the race.

Familiarization with the rules of admission

Remember that the USE system allows applicants to apply for admission to five different universities at once for three directions each. You can apply to only one university, but for three specialties. If you want to apply in five different cities, you are also free to do so. The most practical option is to apply in your hometown and in the one in which you would like to study. In case of non-admission in another city, you will have the opportunity to live at home in your usual place and think about how to build your destiny further.

Some areas (mainly creative) have their own entrance examinations, which the university conducts on its own. Many applicants forget this. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify in advance what and when it will be necessary to hand over.

You also need to know exactly how the competition is held, about beneficiaries and applicants who have advantages in admission.

We submit documents

You also need to know:

  • Terms of acceptance of documents.
  • The mode of operation of the selection committee.
  • What documents are required for admission.

What documents are needed for admission?

1. To apply to the admissions office:

  • Passport, citizenship and its copy.
  • Certificate and its copy.
  • Application for admission to study, which is filled in the selection committee.
  • Several photographs 3 x 4 cm.

2. For enrollment:

  • Original certificate (for those entering the budget).
  • Statement of consent to enrollment.

3. After the enrollment order:

  • Photos 3 x 4 cm (if required by the university).

We participate in the competition

The competitive stage is the most exciting time for applicants. Many cannot sleep, eat and function normally, because in their dreams and thoughts there is only admission.

Each applicant must know this: enrollment takes place in two waves. The first will enroll 80%, mainly those who have passed the original certificate to the university, the second - the remaining 20% of applicants. Therefore, almost everyone has a chance to enter. The main thing is to believe! But it is better to take care of your budget place in advance and pass the exam for high scores. Then even the competitive stage will pass calmly for you, and you won't even have to worry.

Do not forget also about the target area and beneficiaries who can take those very 80% of the seats in the first wave. Moreover, you can go to the second wave if any incoming applicant does not provide consent for enrollment on time. In this case, the likelihood that you will enter a budget place will increase. Study the competitive lists throughout the competitive stage and keep an eye on those who bring the original certificate. It may happen that at the last moment too many originals will be brought in and you will be forced out of 80% of those received in the first wave.

The final stage, after which the applicant will be able to finally relax, is the publication of the order to enroll the applicant. Good luck with your admission!

What documents need to be submitted to the university? This question worries all high school graduates who decide to continue their education.

List of documents for high school.

1. Passport. Each university in Russia must provide a passport or a document proving the identity and citizenship of the applicant.

It is better to immediately prepare several copies of the passport, since not all universities have printers for applicants. And running around and looking for where you can scan your passport is not always possible, especially in a foreign city.

2. Certificate about graduation, or a document on previous education (diploma from another university or college).

We note right away that you can submit the original certificate when you are already on the enrollment lists. In the meantime, prepare a copy of the document.

If you have decided on a university or prefer a particular university, you can also provide the original. However, if you wish to bring it to another university, it will take time.

Please note that the original certificate can be transferred to another university only once!

3. Help 086 / y. In medical and pedagogical universities, it is necessary to provide a certificate 086 / y from the school or from a medical institution licensed to issue such certificates.

Note that some universities require a medical certificate for certain specialties, so prepare a scan of this document in advance. Especially if you decide to enter several universities in Russia.

4. Parental consent to the processing of personal data. School graduates under the age of 18 must have the consent of their parents or guardians to the processing of personal data. Some universities do not even accept documents from minors without parental consent.

Many universities publish their samples of such documents.

5. Application with a request for admission to the university. The form can be downloaded in advance on the website of the university. However, the admissions committee will provide it to you.

6. F otography 3 x 4 (2-3 pcs in one university). If you are applying to 5 universities, take 10-12 photos.

7. Military ID if there is a registration certificate.

8. Information about the results of the exam(if there). A certificate with scores is not needed, the universities themselves check the results of the applicant in the database.

Submission of documents is possible only if you have a certificate and results of the Unified State Examination in all subjects- such information is posted on the HSE website.

9. Portfolio. Information for different universities is very different, it is specifically necessary to look at the websites of educational institutions.

For a portfolio, an applicant can add a maximum of 10 points to his scores for the Unified State Examination.

Immediately, we note that it is necessary to bring all the diplomas to the university for the 11th grade.

Additional points the university accrues:

For having a certificate of secondary general education with honors, a certificate of secondary (complete) general education for those awarded with a gold medal, or a certificate of secondary (complete) general education for those awarded with a silver medal, a diploma of secondary vocational education with honors

For a gold or silver TRP badge;

For the results of participation of applicants in olympiads (not used to obtain special rights and (or) benefits for admission to study on a specific set of admission conditions) and other intellectual and (or) creative competitions - the maximum possible number of points - is established by the university.

Volunteer certificate;

Final essay;

Other.

Attach copies of certificates and diplomas, make copies of certificates, print out the final essay from the graduate's personal account.

What specific achievements to award and how many points to give for them are decided by the universities themselves. Universities post this information in advance in the admission rules on their websites.

01.05.2013

We strongly recommend that you read this article very carefully and several times. In it, we will talk about admission to higher educational institutions, how this happens, we will try to talk about the pitfalls and give some advice.

Let's start with the fact that you were given a certificate, after which you wonderfully wallowed in a puddle with a bottle of champagne. Congratulations. Half way done. Then you need to drink mineral water and collect documents, namely:

  1. Photocopy of the passport
  2. A photocopy of the certificate and the original of the certificate
  3. Photocopy and original of the certificate of passing the exam (if any)

The original certificate of passing the exam can be issued to you very late, therefore, universities in 2012 accepted documents without it. Photos are NOT REQUIRED!!! They will be requested from you only after enrollment.

You have to choose 5 universities to which you are going to apply (in the 6th university, your documents will not be accepted, do not even try, even if they accept, it will still come up later, because the admissions committees have all-Russian databases).

Immediately a small lyrical digression. Many of you (yes) are waiting for some official announcement of the passing score of 2013 from universities. I hasten to disappoint you. There is no uncle in the admission committee of the university who points his finger at the sky and says that the passing score in 2013 will be 210 points in total from 3 subjects (conditionally). What is a passing score anyway? The passing score is the score of the last applicant enrolled in the budget, i.e. you will learn about the passing score of 2013 only after you are enrolled in a university or not enrolled. But more on that later.

As we have already said, you should not overestimate yourself in any case, even if you have 300 points from the 3rd USE. Perhaps all the places in front of you will be occupied by beneficiaries, Olympiads and targets. So don't choose your bouquet from HSE, Moscow State University, RANEPA, MGIMO and St. Petersburg State University. Be sure to leave 1-2 universities on the "fallback", where, as a rule, a low entrance.

So, you rubbed your eyes after graduation and went to your first university to apply. In all likelihood, you will immediately go to your favorite university. But, ATTENTION, most likely, your favorite university is the favorite university of thousands of applicants. Well, it just so happened. So what's going on? In the first days of the admissions campaign, everyone together joined the Higher School of Economics, Moscow State University, RANEPA, MGIMO, Finashka, etc., because these are the favorite universities of just about everyone. Accordingly, what happens? In the first days of the work of admissions committees, we have huge queues at leading universities. Therefore, I advise you not to run headlong in the first days to your favorite universities, but to walk around the “spare” ones for now, and then, in the middle, when this excitement comes down from the top universities, calmly come to the university of your dreams and calmly submit documents in an hour , and not for 6, as it can happen.

So, you have come to the university. In some universities they give you a coupon, in some there is a live queue, but that's not the point. The first procedure that you have to go through is to fill out an application. In normal universities, they put you in an auditorium with a lot of computers, open a questionnaire and you fill it out electronically. Students help you, then print your questionnaire for you. Well, or in many universities the questionnaire is filled out for you. A number of universities scoff at applicants and force them to write this application by hand, and they get to the bottom of the smallest blots. One filling of the questionnaire can take about an hour if the selection committee is completely unorganized.

So, you have the right to choose 3 competitive groups (as a rule, there are several faculties in the competitive group with the same entrance tests and similar topics). Those. You can choose 3 competitive groups, and in this group there can be from one to infinity of specialties. For example. You have chosen 3 competitive groups, where there are 5 specialties in the 1st group, 3 specialties in the second group and 1 specialty in the 3rd group. Here you already have the right to choose all specialties in these 3 competitions. Those. it is realistic to participate in 3 competitions in 9 directions at one university. In many universities, most often, there is one direction in the competitive group. If something is not clear to someone, ask in the comments. This is not trivial, feel free to ask again.

Also, the university will require you to arrange all these specialties in descending order of “want”. For example. You enter the economy. They came to the university, and there we have economics in one faculty, economics in another faculty, and the world economy (for example). We need to arrange them like this:

The first competitive group (we want to get into this competitive group the most)

  1. Economics of the Faculty of Economics (we want here most of all)
  2. Economics of the General Economic Faculty (we want here, but not so much)
  3. World Economy Faculty of Economics

The second competitive group (we apply to this competitive group because we passed the same exams, but just in case)

  1. Management at the enterprise of the faculty of light industry
  2. Management in the sports industry of the Faculty. Anastasia Volochkova
  3. Advertising and Public Relations

The third competitive group (just submitted documents)

  1. Faculty of Law Jurisprudence

So we filled out the application. We are cool. Submitted documents for 3 competitive groups in 5 universities. Those. in total, you participate in 15 competitions. And now attention. You are not the only one who is so fashionable and participate in 15 contests. Let's imagine. You have 250 points from the 3rd exam (well, at least someone here will get 250 points). The score is good. Only here is the problem. Imagine that each applicant applied for 15 competitions. We open the list of applicants, we find that you stand with your (quite good scores) in 1500th place, despite the fact that there are 100 state-funded places at your favorite specialty, your favorite university. We go to cut veins in the bathroom (this is not a call to suicide) or sob into the pillow, as you like. That's just what's funny. 14 out of 15 are really dead souls, these are just ticks. Because one applicant at this stage of admission takes 15 places, but he really wants only one. Let's not talk about probabilities and that there are more popular universities and less popular universities. Let's take an average university. Suppose that we have exactly 14 out of 15 - these are dead souls (at the Higher School of Economics, for example, it’s a little different, there, rather, every 4th one will still remain on the budget). Nevermind. We are modeling the general situation. Being in 1500 place, despite the fact that there are 100 state-funded places in your specialty, I can assure you that most likely you will pass on the budget, since 14 out of 15 will most likely leave. If you are confused, read again, because further - worse.

So, all applicants submitted their documents. It's time for the first wave. We sit on our 1500th place in the university No. 1, in the 2000th place in the university No. 2, and in the 500th place in the university No. 3, etc. In this case, with the first wave we fly. Let's return to our university No. 1, where we most want to. As we have already found out, there are 100 budget places for our favorite specialty. Then there are 2 scenarios (different universities work according to different systems).

  1. Classic variant. On the first wave, the university requests original documents from the first hundred. In our case, every 15 brings documents. 6 people will bring documents to the university by the specified date. There are still 84 budget places that will be “raffled off” in the second wave.
  2. Green wave. Some universities make green waves. They calculate the probabilities (in approximately the same way as we described above, well, or based on last year's data) and recommend not 100 people to be enrolled, how many budget places, but 100 * (1 / the probability that a person will bring documents to them , for this specialty). Well, they still correct for the worse for safety. In our case, we have Let's say the university calculated that such a probability = 1/15 (every fifteenth will bring documents to them). Those. according to this logic, we should recommend for enrollment (request original documents) from the first 1500 people. Well, universities usually don't take much risk and make adjustments. In reality, a university can recommend 1,000 applicants at once, despite the fact that we have 100 state-funded places.
  3. The most epic situation occurs when you are recommended for admission after the first wave to the Reutov University of Leather Gloves and Marketing, and the university you wanted to enter did not recommend you for admission after the first wave. What's happening? Many applicants, having such a borderline score, run in a panic to hand over their originals to the Reutov University of Leather Gloves and Marketing (parents often make you or yourself in a panic that you will be left without a budget to bring documents there. Believe me, it will be so). You are successfully enrolled there after the first wave, and in the second wave it turns out that you entered the university where you wanted to. In this case, you have the right to withdraw your documents (in fairness, we want to note that the Reutov University of Leather Gloves and Marketing will not let you go so easily and, perhaps, you will stay there. Be careful and know your rights!). It's time for the second wave. As a rule, on the 2nd wave they already call almost everyone and privately ask you whether you will bring the original or not. In general, you need to constantly visit the websites of universities or websites for applicants of these universities (if any) and be constantly in the subject, because they may not call. They have the right, well, or they don’t get through by accident, well, or you indicated the wrong phone by mistake.
