Not so simple, but inexpensive Plantronics headset - voice prompts are translated into Russian, it works as much as 11 hours of talk time, there is A2DP for podcasts and music, the price is 1,800 rubles.

    Design, construction

The packaging shows the main feature of the headset - a curved strip, a kind of lightning on the body. The headset is inexpensive, belongs to the budget segment, but it looks good. Black housing made of matte plastic, white insert on the side, elegantly made buttons, connector without a plug. Everything is harmonious, to the place, collected well. Both the transparent silicone nozzle and the transparent temple look great. When you slide the power lever, a miniature indicator light lights up, the headset enters pairing mode. There is a Russian language, at the beginning of use you are asked to choose, English, Russian and German are offered. It is required to wait for the command in the desired language and press any button. Then, pressing the call button again will activate pairing mode. It remains only to find the headset using a smartphone.

The headset weighs only 8 grams, it is not felt in the ear.

    Wearing method

You can wear it with or without a bow, the smallest nozzle is set by default, I fit a size larger. But there are no problems with the bow either, it is thin, does not press. In general, with wearing everything is very, very good.

    Music and control

A number of sources do not have this information, but the M70 has an A2DP profile, that is, you can listen to podcasts and music with normal quality in one ear. The volume is sufficient, if you hold down the volume buttons, you can move from track to track. But how to put the music on pause, I did not understand. A long press launches Siri, after the command, the music continues. Of course, you can order to stop playback, but this is too complicated a way.

Using the multi-functional button, you can answer and end a call, control the player (only rewind, apparently), redialing also works. The response to commands is very fast, there are no problems here. To mute the microphone, press both volume buttons at the same time.

    Working hours

Claimed battery life is about 11 hours of talk time, standby time M70 can last more than 16 days. There is a Deepsleep mode, when the headset turns off all electronics to save battery power, in this mode it works up to 180 days. This is a very big plus for those who do not use headsets all the time - for example, you get behind the wheel only on weekends, on weekdays you get to work by subway.

Charging is standard, microUSB. The iPhone screen displays the battery level, for the same function in Android, you need to install the "Plantronics Battery Meter" application for the "Find MyHeadset" application.

    Voice quality

Rating - four with a huge minus. In a car with an open window while driving, people hear me poorly, in a quiet room - more or less normal. There were no complaints about artifacts. Supports work with two phones at once, judging by the instructions, the pairing process is not difficult.

The advice is simple: if you need a headset for the street, it is better to buy something more expensive. For indoors or use in a car where the windows are closed, the M70 will do.

    conclusions

You can find it for 1,800 rubles, cheap and cheerful - and you can listen to music and podcasts. And the hours are great. Voice quality is average, everything else is very good. Pleased with high-quality localization, for many it will be an additional plus when choosing.

Imagine that you are driving a car. You have a great mood, mind-boggling plans. The phone rings, you answer the call, start a conversation while continuing to steer. But with one hand. Even if you are a very experienced driver, it is not easy to maneuver and park in the traffic of a big city with just one hand! And if you are not a very experienced driver ... Of course, you can take the path of least resistance - and just not answer calls while driving. But, for example, I can’t do this, because there are urgent matters, clients, partners who always call on time, with or without reason, and also my mother, who, if I don’t answer her call, will instantly imagine an abandoned ditch and everything that must be attached to it.

Most recently, I found the perfect solution for my problem - a bluetooth headset. Plantronics M70 acted as a lifeline. I thought that if the products of the famous company coped with the transmission of data from the moon (the words of the first person to set foot on the lunar surface were transmitted to the whole world through the Plantronics headset), then it would also cope with my needs in the form of free hands while driving. And I was not mistaken.

What does a girl need from such a gadget? In addition to performing the necessary functionality, there is also convenience, external attractiveness and, of course, a reasonable price. Now I will tell about all these requirements and compliance with them Plantronics M70.

The headset is miniature and very light - it weighs only 8 grams; a black matte case, an elegant white insert on the side, a transparent silicone nozzle and the same bow, buttons that are quickly to the touch, but do not stick out anywhere - the gadget seems perfect to me. Perhaps this is my subjective love for minimalism and that classic, which, like a little black dress, is perfect in itself. In general, the Plantronics M70 and I found each other.

The headset is turned on with a small lever - a soft indicator light immediately lights up. When you first use it, you are prompted to select a language - English, Russian or German. You wait for the command in the desired language, press any button, then the call button (you can call the call button twice) and the headset is ready to “connect” with the smartphone.

I honestly admit that I formulated this chain of actions for review, but in fact, when I picked up the headset for the first time, I didn’t read any instructions and didn’t study anything at all. I turned on the headset, then activated the bluetooth in my smartphone, found my device and that's it. Working! Fast and easy.

You can wear the Plantronics M70 with or without a headband - it fits perfectly, as if merging with the body. No discomfort, no extra heaviness. If not for the constant calls, the headset could be forgotten.

I listen to music a little - more and more audiobooks. I’m already used to doing this from the phone when driving in a car, because it’s convenient for me. But it is worth at least a little to open the window - and almost nothing is heard. In this case, the M70 provides me with comfortable audibility under any circumstances. A universal large button allows you to receive calls with one click - audio playback is paused, and after the end of the conversation it resumes.

With the same button, you can end calls, redial a number, switch entries. Walking around the park all day with a headset in my ear, playing "Anna Karenina" in eight parts, I highly appreciated the comfort of controlling the device. Agree, a person with a phone in his hands, who "gives out" the Russian classics for all to hear, can not only raise questions from others, but simply interfere, breaking the silence of the spring park. A person with a headset does not interfere with anyone, while he himself enjoys what he came for: the appeasement of nature against the backdrop of Tolstoy's work. Some fantasy. But real.

If for some reason you need to turn off the microphone, then this can be done by simultaneously pressing both volume buttons. Very easy. I tested this function, but did not use it - to nothing.

Plantronics M70 can work with two phones at once - the function is called Multi-Point. According to the manufacturer, the process of pairing with them is as simple as with one. A great feature if you use different gadgets for your professional and personal life.

If you forget the headset in the car or office, it will automatically go into DeepSleep mode. This feature allows you to save battery power: the gadget can be in a state of "deep sleep" for up to 180 days!

A fully charged battery should provide 11 hours of talk time. It is unlikely that someone can talk so much in one day. For example, I rarely had to remember to charge the headset. In standby mode Plantronics M70 is ready to work up to 16 hours.

    conclusions

Plantronics M70 is a compact, lightweight and very easy to use bluetooth headset. You can connect the gadget to your smartphone within one minute, and even instructions are not needed. You can get the headset for $36 equivalent. The fine for talking while driving today is $25. And this is only for the first violation within a year. A second one can cost as much as $100. Comments are unnecessary here.

It seems to me that this headset is just the good one that you get used to very quickly, but you don’t want to wean it at all: like a smartphone, like a computer, like an obligatory cup of coffee in the morning. In general, as a thing or a ritual, without which the level of everyday comfort is not the same. Try it - you will definitely like it.
