1. MY PROFESSION IS MANAGER

I was born in the Altai Territory, into a prosperous, creative and talented family. Since childhood, I have strived to imitate my parents and be the first in everything. While still at school, I took part in various educational Olympiads and creative competitions, where I always took first places, especially in hockey. I developed leadership qualities. My parents repeated to me more than once that I am capable of ruling and managing, showing the best and highest qualities. My most important quality is a clear vision of a goal that others see only in very vague outlines or not at all. All this influenced my choice of profession. It was not in vain that I chose the profession of manager. To manage yourself is to manage everyone. Management means the creation, management, control and maximum effective use of socio-economic systems and models at various levels. Management is a profession, and people who professionally carry out the management function are managers. The fate of an enterprise or firm depends on them; the professional fate of even an individual person - an employee of this enterprise - may depend on them. Managing effectively is not as easy as many people think. I am fully aware of the complexity of a manager's job. Managers don’t just sit in easy chairs and sign some papers, they have very serious and responsible tasks, their responsibilities include:

skillful use of human resources , encouraging employees to move up the career ladder , control of employee activities .

organization of production

its expansion using rational methods

organizing exhibitions and product presentations

ingenuity, ability to manage oneself and one’s time, foresight, efficiency. I became interested in the profession of manager. I am confident that I made the right choice of profession.

2. MY SUCCESSES AND ACHIEVEMENTS

I am now only eighteen years old, however, during this time I have achieved many successes. I will write about this in this section.

One of my main achievements is graduating from secondary school. Since the first grade I really love to study and learn everything new. I constantly took part in school and city olympiads in chemistry, social studies and history. And also every year I was sent to regional hockey competitions. In addition to his studies, he took an active position in the life of the class and school for all ten years.

As a 5th grade student, a very young boy, I became very interested in the German language. And for seven years I was passionate about learning German. Now I know him perfectly. The first goal I was striving for was fulfilled.

At the end of school, I was included in the district Book of Honor for academic success and active social life.

And I also want to note my main achievement - this is admission to the Russian State University of Tourism and Service. By studying here, I will acquire all the knowledge and skills to build my career.

3. WHY I ENTERED THE INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

A modern person simply needs to have an idea of economic theory, because our life depends on economic laws no less than on the laws of nature. It was not by chance that I entered RGUTiS and the Faculty of Economics. Everyone knows that the profession of manager is the most prestigious and highly paid profession in a given period of time. Besides the fact that many of my friends study here and there are a number of decisive reasons for my choice.

Firstly, the knowledge and skills acquired here will help me achieve my main goal.

Secondly, the prestige of the institute is very great.

Thirdly, RGUTiS has a very strong teaching staff.

Fourthly, and most importantly, at RGUTiS I will be able to gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills. In the words of Quintilian: “Practice without theory is more valuable than theory without practice.” The practice will serve as an impetus for the development of my future career.

I take a very responsible approach to studying at the institute. It is important for me to become not only a professional, but also to receive recognition as such. I use the knowledge and initial experience acquired at the institute to achieve my main professional goal - to become a media tycoon and have a chain of stores.

4. HOW I IMAGINE MY FUTURE CAREER

There are many difficulties and unexpected turns of events in every person's life. I will also have to overcome many obstacles, but I am confident that I can become a real specialist in the field of economics. To achieve this goal, you need to work hard on yourself now and, of course, gain experience in all possible ways. Experience is very important, but it comes with time. Therefore, now we cannot waste this precious time.

I would like to make my career in some thriving company, climb the corporate ladder, and open my own store. In my understanding, making a career means achieving a prestigious position in society and a high level of income. This refers to prestige from the point of view of public opinion.

In order to become a specialist in your profession, you must have personal qualities such as ease of communication, perseverance, willpower, self-confidence, responsibility, etc.

To achieve the main goal, you need to go through almost the entire path of life. Progress towards the goal I have set will take place in stages, step by step, through solving intermediate tasks.

At the age of 18, I will take a part-time job as a loader to gain some knowledge and experience in my chosen field of work. For this position I need qualities such as communication and

attentiveness. Estimated income is 3000 rubles, because I have no work experience. Thus, I will take the first step towards my intended goal.

By the age of 22, I plan to get a position as a product display worker in the same company. A month will be enough to demonstrate your capabilities to colleagues and prove that noticeable progress is being made in your work. My responsibilities will include displaying goods in the store. Desired income 6,000 rubles.

By the age of 25, I want to move up the career ladder and get the position of purchasing manager. Estimated income 13,000 rubles.

At the age of 30, I want to become the manager of the Kopeika chain of stores. Having achieved this, I will need to master the art of managing people. Estimated income 35,000 thousand rubles.

By the age of 35, I plan to become an executive director and carry out the initial stage of opening my own business. I think that by the age of 40 I will have a certain amount of capital to achieve my main goal, because I believe that at this stage my salary will be 300,000 rubles.

And by the age of 40, I will expand my business so much that I will become a media mogul. This will be the result of my professional path, the peak of my career. Estimated income is about 4,000,000 rubles. For such successful prosperity, I will need enormous willpower and assertiveness, enterprise and optimism, professional competence and all those qualities that a manager should have.

5. MY PROFESSIONAL GOALS

My main professional goal in life is to make a career and open my own business. I want to have a job that allows me to be independent. But at the same time, work should bring pleasure. I want to live in order to work, and not vice versa. To do this, first of all, I must successfully graduate from college, get a diploma and a job in my specialty. Undoubtedly, I will need computer skills, since now a large amount of information can be extracted from the monitor screen. Knowledge of foreign languages also plays a huge role in modern life, so it is advisable to know at least one foreign language. This provides great benefits in communicating with Western partners, plus the opportunity to travel abroad. Studying the specifics of the economies of other countries is also useful: you can adopt their experience and technologies in relation to our country, and specifically to your company.

I also think that it is necessary to communicate as much as possible with business professionals and gradually gain experience from them.

For now, my goal is to study well at university. After completing the first course, I will have the next goal - to find the desired job. Then the next one will follow. This will continue until I achieve my final goal.

ON THE TOPIC: “I SEE MY PROFESSIONAL FUTURE LIKE THIS…”

Moscow 2010

I see my professional future like this...

If the final goal is not important, then it does not matter which way to go - this idea, which came from the pen of the English mathematician and writer Lewis Carroll in “Alice in Wonderland”, formed the basis of this essay. Indeed, if a person does not have a vector that determines the direction of his professional aspirations, that guiding star in the career horizon leading him to that cherished and desired goal, the result will be disastrous. It is idealized goals that are the prism that separates everything that is effective from the ineffective, allowing you not to waste your efforts in vain.

I have already definitely determined that I want to develop in the field of project management aimed at increasing the efficiency of the company. For Russia, this activity is new and its prospects are great. Having started to take the first steps in this direction: having completed a 3-month internship at VTB 24 Bank (CJSC), where I was involved in one of the projects of the organizational development department (my role consisted of a functional analysis of the activities of typical workplaces of base branches and conducting interviews with heads of functional departments), - I realized that my professional choice was not a mistake.

In the future, I plan to continue my internship at VTB 24 Bank (CJSC) in order to improve my professional skills, gain experience and find employment.

“Those who do not move forward are left behind” is the motto of our institute, which perfectly reflects my values and beliefs regarding personal development. New knowledge contributes to career advancement, in turn, a new position allows you to gain new experience and skills that were previously unavailable. In other words, there is a direct relationship between knowledge and career advancement. After 3 years of working in the field of project management, I plan to obtain a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. Getting an MBA is also part of my plans.

Speaking about how I see my professional future, I don’t want to go into too much detail, based on the considerations that the modern world is becoming more and more dynamic: some companies are being replaced by others, new areas of activity, new management concepts, etc. appear.

After five years of work, I see myself as a manager of organizational change projects (development and integration of HR tools) in a large bank. I work in a team of professionals who achieve synergy in joint activities. In my work I am always guided by high standards of professional ethics. Unfortunately, managers do not have their own “Hippocratic Oath”, which proclaims high ideals of morality and responsibility for their actions. “Do no harm” - this fundamental principle of medicine is just as relevant for managers, because inappropriate or untimely actions entail the same sad consequences for the organization as the wrong actions of a doctor have a detrimental effect on the patient’s health.

There are many steps ahead on the way to the position of Director of Strategic Development, having achieved which I can proudly say that I owe my success to a certain extent to the Moscow Institute of Economics, Management and Law!

As you know, from the top there is only one simple way - down! Therefore, having achieved some goals, I intend to set new ones and make every effort to implement them.

I really like reading business books; they contain a lot of useful information and charge me with creative energy. My favorite authors are Jim Collins, Paul Ekman, Rob Goffey, Stephen Covey, Kjell Nordstrom, Jonas Ridderstrale, Peter Drucker, Marina Melia, Dale Carnegie. In the future, although, at first glance, not so close, I plan to try myself as an author. With my books, I will try to instill in new generations of managers a love for management science, as it was once instilled in me within the walls of the Moscow Institute of Economics, Management and Law!

This is approximately how I imagine my professional future.

"My profession is my future"

In the life of every person there comes a time when choosing a profession. This is a responsible step that everyone must take themselves. As children, we dream of becoming a teacher, policeman, doctor, driver, actress, singer, astronaut and even president. Playing in adulthood as a child, there are no impossible tasks for us. But time passes and childhood leaves, forgetting to wave goodbye. Before we even knew it, we had approached the threshold of adulthood. There will be no more games. But no one will take our dream away from us. All we need to take with us into adulthood is a childhood dream.

A dream is the beginning of all professions. Some people dream of traveling and writing books, some of becoming a chef and opening a restaurant, some of them dreaming of becoming a designer and inventing their own clothing collections, and some of them want to convey knowledge to children. Make your dream come true, become what you want. do you want to be.

The world of professions is diverse and amazing. And every profession is important. There are no important and unimportant professions. They are all needed, they are just in demand in different ways. The choice of profession must be taken responsibly and thoughtfully, because you will need to connect your whole life with it. As the ancient philosopher Confucius said: “Choose a job you like, and you will never have to work a single day in your life.” After all, doing what you truly like is very cool. Get pleasure and joy from your work. Your work will reflect you as a professional in this matter, since you will put a piece of your soul into it. Just imagine how “cool” it is to wake up thinking that today you will do a lot of new things. But if you choose a profession you don’t like, you will never get the same pleasure from it. Neither prestige nor high wages will bring you that simple joy. You will wake up with the thoughts: “Back to work when it’s already vacation.” And you will live from Saturday to Saturday waiting for your vacation. You will not be able to feel that there are many bright moments in life, because your work will be a routine for you and you will do it automatically. This is how your whole life will pass, waiting for weekends and vacations. Don't let this happen! Choose a profession that you like. So that you like it and so that you are useful.

I'm in ninth grade and starting to think about my future profession. I take my choice of profession responsibly, since the choice of profession determines your future path. I want my profession to be interesting for me not only when I study, but also after graduation. Because many people like to study, but do not like working in this activity, and they go to work outside their specialty. In my future profession, it is important for me that this is interesting for me. All professions are so different, but they are connected in one thing. It doesn’t matter what job you choose, what matters is what benefit you bring to the people of the country!

I would like to make my career in some thriving company, climb the corporate ladder, and open my own construction or design company.

In my understanding, making a career means achieving a prestigious position in society and a high level of income. This refers to prestige from the point of view of public opinion.

In order to become a specialist in your profession, you must have personal qualities such as ease of communication, perseverance, willpower, self-confidence, etc.

To achieve the main goal, you need to go through almost the entire path of life. Progress towards a different goal will take place in stages, step by step, through solving intermediate tasks.

At the age of 18, I will get a part-time job as a sales consultant in a construction or design organization in order to accumulate some knowledge and experience in my chosen field of activity. For this position I need qualities such as communication skills, attentiveness, politeness and, of course, some knowledge. I think: this will be an interesting job, because I will be able to communicate with customers and more experienced work colleagues. Estimated income is 1,500 rubles, because I have no work experience. In this way I will take the first step towards my intended goal.

By the age of 22, I plan to get a position as a sales manager in the same company. A month will be enough to demonstrate your capabilities to colleagues and prove that noticeable progress is being made in your work. My responsibilities will include concluding contracts with clients and advertising products. Desired income is 4,000 rubles.

By the age of 25, I want to move up the career ladder and get the position of deputy director of a regional department in a construction (design) company. Having achieved this, I will need to master the art of managing people. The experience and capital accumulated during my tenure in this position will mainly help me make the leap and become the owner of my own company. Estimated income is 10,000 rubles.

At the age of 30 I will open my own business. This will be a construction or design firm. Construction has always been and will be held in high esteem. It has great prospects, despite the fact that it has existed since ancient times. It is especially pleasant to build civil buildings and residential buildings. I want to bring something new to these construction industries. I want the houses to be comfortable to live in and have an exceptional interior. This will greatly benefit people.

Design is closely related to construction and has a wide field of activity. Both the construction and design firm will undoubtedly prosper and pay for itself within a very short time. The desired income in this position is 30,000 rubles.

By the age of 35, I plan to expand my business and create a network of companies throughout the region. I think that by the age of 40 I will have a certain amount of money capital to achieve my main goal, because I believe that at this stage a completely reasonable salary will be 300,000 rubles.

And by the age of 40, I will expand my business so much that I will become a media mogul. Branches of my company will operate throughout the country and, I hope, abroad. This will be the result of my professional path, the peak of my career. Estimated income is about 5,000,000 rubles. For such successful prosperity, I will need enormous willpower and assertiveness, enterprise and optimism, professional competence and all those qualities that a manager should have.

Essay “Choice of a profession” An important problem of adolescence is the choice of profession. At this time, the interests of a significant part of adolescents are extremely unstable. They are generated by acquaintances and comrades. School and family have less influence. The degree of choice ranges from absolute “yes, this is the only profession that attracts me” to “I don’t know how it will work out.” Teenagers prioritize professions that provide the opportunity to make independent decisions, contact people, and receive a useful product from their activities. In second place are professions in which there is a creative nature of work. In third place is work from which you can get new impressions. Recently, financial reward for work done has become an important factor influencing the choice of profession. It has been established that teenagers rarely choose their parents' professions. But there is no doubt that they listen to the opinions of adults. At the age of 10-12, children often have a clear idea of who they will work as. This is due to the lack of life experience, as well as the insignificant need for self-realization. For children aged 14-15 years, choosing their future profession causes much more difficulties and doubts. Which is not surprising. Teenagers who are already really faced with this question are guided by three positions in choosing a profession: I want - the interests, inclinations of the child, the desire to do something that interests him; I can - level of preparedness, level of knowledge, availability of abilities for the chosen type of activity; necessary - the demand for the profession, the need for it in society. This also includes thinking about a number of factors that are also important: the prestige of the profession, the remuneration system, place of residence. In a market economy, the prestige of one profession is replaced by the prestige of another. And vice versa. Therefore, when choosing a profession, you should not base your choice of profession only on this factor. Let us note, and this has become commonplace, that higher education increases prestige. But we should not forget that a certain number of teenagers are not inclined to engage in mental activity at all. It will be much easier for such guys to find themselves if they start their education at a college or technical school. This often helps with subsequent admission to higher education. A teenager receives knowledge and ideas about his chosen profession in secondary educational institutions. And if desired, he will be able to study further purposefully. Teenagers also evaluate professions depending on gender. But this is unlikely to affect the choice of profession. But the phrase: “This is not a woman’s (men’s) business” can hurt a child’s pride. So, let’s hope that a significant number of boys and girls motivate their choice by having a stable interest in this profession, the abilities, inclinations, knowledge necessary for this business, as well as familiarity with activities close to their future profession. The emergence of the need for self-determination indicates that the adolescent’s personality has reached a high level of development. If such a need does not arise, you should not force him to make a decision. Attempts by parents, especially in families of the intelligentsia, to speed up this event, this process with the help of psychological pressure, always lead to a reaction of protest or an increase in anxiety. It has been noted that early self-determination usually has its costs, since hobbies in adolescence are often accidental and frivolous. A teenager may have a poor understanding of the activities he will have to engage in. And, of course, he believes that all professions are divided into “bad” and “good”. The categorical choice and lack of desire to consider other options is an escape from painful hesitation. This will most likely lead to disappointment later on.
